POCKET PSTN MODEMS
The PSTN modems from METMOTEC are designed for use in or with I&C electricity meters and other industrial terminals and instruments. They are employed in METMOTEC’s ‘ENDURANCE’ modem systems and are also available as discrete modems to utilities and meter operators. Key features and advantages are:
- V21, V22 & V22bis – 300/1200/2400bps (Low rates for low power consumption, but suitable for many meter reading applications)
- ‘CTR21 standard’ and EC marked for use in the EU (plus Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Israel)
